A young aspiring singer from Bicol traveled alone to Metro Manila in the hopes of joining the popular singing contest “Tawag ng Tanghalan Kids.”
Unfortunately, Zildjian James Parma, who was supposed to audition for the show, ran out of money so he performed in a restaurant to ask for help.
The impromptu performance was recorded and eventually posted on Facebook by a user named Ramos Ivan.
The video quickly became viral garnering over 6 million views, almost 90 thousand likes and 190 shares since it was posted last Sunday.
Parma has not been able to participate in the auditions as yet. But with the attention he’s getting online, he might score his own music career already.
