Timor Leste football team stranded at airport, brought to the wrong hotel by SEA Games organizers

Apart from the Thai football team, another country also experienced inconvenience as they arrived for the 30th Southeast Asian Games.

Reports said that the organizers in the Philippines neglected the Timor-Leste football team as they were left stranded at the airport for hours.

The inconvenience did not stop there because they were brought in a wrong hotel afterwards.

The ASEAN Football News Facebook page reported the incident.

“About Timor Leste football team… today they arrived at the airport in Manila City but i’m sorry I can’t remember in this photo, where is terminal? They arrived in time at 5 am after that they waited for the bus support around 2.30 hours and then driver man take care staffs and players to wrong hotel,” the Facebook page said.

The Thai football team also had to cancel their training because of heavy traffic and their hotel is two hours away from the practice field.

The Myanmar team was seen sleeping at the hotel floors because they were not accommodated immediately by their designated hotels.
