Meet the OFW couple with many properties who believe it’s never too late to invest

Roy and Jinky Rogelio, an OFW couple based in Dubai, have started investing in properties at a time when they are already working abroad for a while.
The two, however, have proven that it’s never too late to invest, as long as you prioritize it and set your mind to achieving it. They both now own a house and lot, a lot, and a condo unit—and they did it all by investing within their means. The couple advised other OFWs to do the same, and go for their dream future property by registering at the upcoming Philippine Property and Investment Exhibition (PPIE)–the the biggest, longest running and most trusted Philippine business and investment forum in the Middle East–via: http://events.ppie.ae/register/
Roy, a Bank Customer Due Diligence Specialist, has been in Dubai since 1996, while Jinky since 2001. They have always wanted to provide a better living space for their kids, but they had retreated from the idea of investing several times because of their low income back then.

“At that time, hindi rin po nag-agree ang husband ko kasi nga yung salary namin hindi ganung kalaki. But then sabi ko sa kanya, kung hindi natin uumpisahan, wala tayong matatapos. After five years, nagulat na lang kami, tapos na yung lupa,” Jinky shared.
When they managed to finish their first investment, they started moving on to getting another one. However, they said they limited themselves to investing within their means.

The couple currently owns a house and lot at Laguna, a lot in Rosario, Cavite; a condo in Sta. Mesa. and they even have a mutual fund investment. They both encourage everyone to invest, while they still can.
Jinky adds that you should make that decision to invest your hard-earned money to see your efforts bear fruit for your future: “Ke bata ka, ke matanda ka na.. kung kaya naman, bakit hindi gawin?” she said.
PPIE, which will be held this coming April 10 to 11, 2020 at Crowne Plaza – Sheikh Zayed Road, will be attended by the leading most reputable property developers; banks; insurance companies; government-backed financial, investment & savings institution; money remittance centers; and services providers.  To know more about PPIE 2020, visit www.ppie.ae , or contact:
