Dubai OFWs’ bubble tea indulgence takes a new level

DUBAI: When you have a bubble tea refreshment store running out of stock and having to frequently deliver supplies from Taiwan by air, you got something!

Such is the case for Tsaa Time, which opened just two months back at West Zone in Al Khail Gate whose owner, Tolaram Vatnani said they have to keep up with their stock else they lose the momentum.

“We import by air because our stocks finish fast,” he said.

Indeed, bubble tea, has become a craze for not only Filipinos but everyone else and at Tsaa Time, it’s Matcha, which is said to be packed with anti-oxidants, detoxifies effectively and naturally, calms the mind and relaxes the body and enhances mood and aids in concentration.

Another crowd favorite is Taro, Tsaa Time’s best seller probably because of its sweet scent, pretty much like the pandan leaf, and yam-like taste.

A big plastic cup sells for Dh15 – that’s 15 ml or half a liter; smaller ones at 350ml is Dh10.
