A Filipina gave birth to a healthy baby mid-air while traveling from Kuwait to Manila.
The plane crew assisted the Filipina throughout her labor.
Both the mother and baby are in good condition after the unexpected mid-air birth, reported Al-Qabas daily.
The Pinay, whose identity was withheld, was on board a Kuwait Airways plane when she experienced labor pains on Tuesday night.
“The crew of Kuwait Airways flight KU417 bound for Manila today, Tuesday, August 2, 2022, quickly dealt with a birth case that occurred during the flight, as the crew performed their duty professionally,” Kuwait Airways tweeted.
A photo published by Al-Qabas shows the newborn carried by a male flight attendant.
The flight attendants and crew reaped praises from other passengers for being an instrument in the safe delivery.
