Vice President Leni Robredo has wrapped up her Bayanihan E-Konsulta program after serving over 58,000 beneficiaries since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Robredo said that the telemedicine initiative was able to help patients of COVID-19 and other diseases get medical attention through tele-consultation.

“Huling araw ngayon ng ating Bayanihan E-Konsulta initiative. Since we launched the program in April 2021, we have assisted more than 58,000 cases—both COVID and non-COVID patients,” Robredo said in a Facebook post.
The outgoing VP also thanked the doctors and volunteers who joined the program. This included 947 doctors and 1,761 call agents.
“Lubos ang aking pasasalamat sa lahat ng nakasama natin: sa ating volunteer doctors, call/chat agents, EMS teams, and to my OVP family. At sa lahat ng mga kababayan na ating natulungan sa Bayanihan E-Konsulta, malaking karangalan po para sa amin na kayo ay mapaglingkuran,” she said.

The Bayanihan E-Konsulta program also provided free COVID-19 care kits which included medicines, vitamins, thermometer, box of facemask, oximeter, disinfectant, and alcohol.
Robredo lost in the 2022 presidential race to president-elect Bongbong Marcos with 31 million votes.
