Individuals who were granted a golden visa by the UAE government are eligible to obtain a driving license without having to go through rigorous training.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said that those who got a Golden Visa and are interested in getting a driving license can now apply through the RTA website or visit the nearest centres and the applicant must meet the criteria to get his details processed.
“Did you get the Golden Visa & want to get a driving license in #Dubai? Present your previous driving license approved in your country & issue a new one from RTA at the driving institutes after passing the knowledge & road tests without needed training,” read the RTA’s message on Twitter.
