Director of the Naif Police station, Brig Dr Tariq Noor, attributed this to a comprehensive program for “security analysis, criminal governance” and the efforts of specialized security teams.

He said that the decrease was recorded even as the area’s population increased by 62 per cent last year.

Brig Noor said that at the Naif station services are delivered within five minutes which was an improvement from the six-minute response time last year.

The officers have improved security and the Dubai Police team in the area has also strengthened round-the-clock patrolling.

Brig Noor said that public awareness has helped the police improve their services and prevent crimes and he urged the people to continue cooperating with the police. (AW)
