Pacquiao now back in Manila after loss against Ugas

Senator and boxing legend Manny Pacquiao is now back in the country after his loss against Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas last week.

Ugas retained his WBA welterweight championship during the 12-round fight with Pacquiao.

The senator was welcomed by some of his supporters at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 3AM. He was welcomed with banners and tarpaulins during his arrival.

It can be seen that the supporters disregarded physical distancing amid the rising COVID-19 cases.

There was also a commotion when a staff member brought out thousands of cash but did not give it away to the supporters.

Pacquiao, his family, and other staff will undergo a 10-day quarantine at a hotel in Pasay City.

(TDT)
