PBC Abu Dhabi engages Filipino business leaders in UAE at BizTalk 2019

The Philippine Business Council in Abu Dhabi (PBC-Abu Dhabi) recently held their BizTalk 2019 at the Crowne Plaza in Abu Dhabi last August 1.

More than 100 Filipino decision makers as well as company leaders in various institutions across the UAE converged in an evening of engaging discussions, business matching and social networking.

In attendance were Abu Dhabi’s Consul General Maria Cynthia Pelayo who shared Ambassador Hjayceelyn Quintana’s message for the business community, Labor Attache Alejandro Padaen, Assistant Labor Attaches Jobo Magsaysay and Liwayway Ilo, Commercial Attache Charmaine Yalong from Dubai as well as PBC Dubai Chairman Bobbie Carella.

The evening saw a series of empowering talks led by seasoned experts including Doaa Mohammed from the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Michelle Strydom of The SMG Group, Shefeek Salim of NAS Chartered Accountants, Filipino PR Man, Art ‘Popoy’ Los Baños, and Yalong who shared updates for the upcoming involvement of the Filipino community for the Dubai Expo 2020.

PBC Abu Dhabi Chairman Deborah Dayrit extended her words of gratitude for all those who attended and challenged fellow Filipino businesses to collaborate and exhibit the spirit of innovation in the run up towards the Expo 2020 and beyond.
