Some 44 percent of Filipinos are very happy with their lives, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.
The survey covers the first quarter of 2019. The result is 5 % higher compared to the December 2018 survey of 39%.
Forty nine percent of Filipino adults said they are “fairly happy” with their lives, while seven percent were “not very happy.”
The happiness level rose in all regions except Luzon. The Muslim community was the happiest at 66%.
In terms of life satisfaction, 37% said they are “very satisfied” with their lives, while 53% were “fairly satisfied.”
The survey had 1,440 respondents through face to face interviews.
