The United Filipino Optometrists in the UAE recently held their oath taking ceremonies at the Royal Rose Hotel that saw the new batch of officers commit to supporting fellow Filipino optometrists in the UAE by providing and organizing seminars to gain points for their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Themed, “A Voice to Lead, Now and Beyond”, the short program’s oathtaking ceremony was led by Vice Consul Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil. In attendance as well was Bayanihan Council Chairman Elmer Casao, together with over 70 members in attendance, led by their president Dr. Sherwin Paul Reyes.

In addition, the group also extends their assistance through humanitarian outreach programs, one of which will be their own initiative as volunteers for the upcoming Special Olympics World Games set to take place in Abu Dhabi this March.
