It is known that His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, is an Instagram-famous personality who has over 6.4 million followers.
Now, he tried out Instagram’s newly-launched vertical video platform, IGTV, and, for his first upload, the Crown Prince showed his followers a video taken when he went spearfishing in Dubai.
IGTV is a new video-viewing application launched by Instagram on June 20, 2018. It allows users to upload videos of up to a hour and each user page are named “channels”.
“Spending a day fishing in Dubai,” H.H. Sheikh Hamdan captioned the video.
The seven-minute video shows H.H. Sheikh Hamdan and his companions in their wetsuits as they dive in the oceans of Dubai with spearguns in their hands.
After a few minutes of diving, the Crowned Prince was able to catch a large fish.
The Crown Prince, along with His Highness’ companions, then climbed back to the boat and the next scene shows H.H. Sheikh Hamdan in a kitchen cooking his catch of the day.
The entire video was taken in first-person perspective using the GoPro mounted on the Sheikh’s head.
