Open letter: A daughter’s message to her nanay

by | Feature

When parents leave home to try their luck overseas, the common notion is that the burden is only on the shoulders of OFWs. We often think they are the only ones who battle loneliness. The truth is, the families they leave behind in the Philippines share the same longing, the same amount of loneliness for their relatives miles away from home. This letter, written by a daughter for her mom, reflects the aforementioned sentiments.

_______

Thank you, TFT!
