Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa poked fun that she is expecting Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo to smile now and cry at a later time after her publicized breakup with boyfriend Neil Salvacion.
Mateo’s update shows that she is now in San Jose, California and Lastimosa was commenting on the latest travel photos of the former at Castello di Amorosa in Calistoga, Napa Valley that was captioned: “As you travel, you get to experience what life truly means.”

Meanwhile, other local stars like actress Kim Rodriguez and Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Johanna Datul highlighted their support to Rabiya. While Miss Universe Italy 2020 Viviana Vizzini offered comforting comments, Rabiya’s co-Indian beauty queen, Miss Universe 2020 3rd runner up Adline Quadros Castelino described Rabiya being the “bravest.”
Noting that God had given Rabiya the toughest journey along with the brightest mind and forgiving heart,” Castelino said “You will always be remembered @rabiyamateo and the story hasn’t ended, but just begun, superstar.” (AW)
