Actor John Lloyd Cruz revealed the crucial role of his son Elias in his life.
Elias is Cruz’s son with model Ellen Adarna.
“Anak ko talaga yung ano ko… yun ang teacher ko. Malaki ang papel nun sa kung bakit ako ay nandito pa ngayon,” he said in a report on Pep.ph.
Cruz said that he is now enjoying fatherhood and Elias gave new meaning to his life.
The actor said that Elias is his motivation for making a showbiz comeback.
“Malaki ang talagang papel niya kung bakit, di ba, bumabangon ka, nagsusumikap ka,” he said.
Cruz also said that he owes his life to Elias.
“Kaya, naku, talagang malaki ang utang na… utang ko… utang ko ang buhay ko sa anak ko. Kung wala yung anak ko, baka wala na rin ako dito,” he added.
The actor also reveals that he is now closer to God. The actor left show business in 2017 to be with Adarna.
The four years of their relationship also proved to be challenging for both of them.
Cruz is now under Crown Artist Management, the talent agency of actress Maja Salvador.
