Kapamilya young star Alexa Ilacas has repeatedly brushed off her rumored relationship with ‘The Killer Bride’ co-star Joshua Garcia.
Some netizens even said that Alexa is Joshua’s ‘low key’ girlfriend.
“Wala, wala talaga, tinatawanan lang namin,” Alexa told showbiz news site PEP.ph.
Alexa adds that Joshua is not courting her even if both of them are now single and available.
Joshua broke up with his former on screen partner Julia Barretto early this year. Julia is allegedly the third party in the breakup of actors Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo.
“Nung una nga, sabi ko, ‘Ha? Talaga ba?’ Talaga naman mga tao talaga o, creative! Pinagtatawanan lang namin. Nanliligaw? No, no. Walang paramdam. Nothing,” Alexa explained.
When asked if Joshua is boyfriend material, Alexa did not hesitate to say yes.
“Of course. I saw kung paano siya noon kay Julia and I see how he is kahit sa ibang girls. Kahit nga sa guys, mabait siya, very warm siyang tao,” Alexa added.
The actress also said that what she and Joshua have right now is nothing but friendship.
“We’re close. Nakakabuo na kami ng friendship kasama sina Neil, sina Pamu. So, parang may group na kami,” she said.
