Archie and his friends were spotted in Manila in its latest cover of the hit comic series.
Comic bookstore pioneer Filbar’s unveiled the first look on the cover showing the first issue of “Archie & Friends Travel.”
The cover shows Archie, Jughead, Reggie, Betty, and Veronica posing for a photo in front of the Rizal monument in Manila.
Jughead was seen eating isaw, Betty and Veronica on the other hand were shown eating halo-halo.
“Filbar’s and Comic Odyssey have joined forces to bring you the very first ARCHIE COMICS Philippine Exclusive cover — masterfully illustrated by Miguel Mercado,” the comic book store said in a statement.
The Riverdale team first visited Manila in 2017. In one of its comic, the team visited the Philippines as part of a documentary called “Manila Concert Grounds.”
Filbar’s Archie and Friends Travel will be available in November.
