Louis Vuitton sends flowers to Regine following ‘discrimination’ revelation

Asia’s songbird Regine Velasquez reveals she received flowers from French fashion house Louis Vuitton following her revelation that she had experienced discrimination when she visited the brand’s store in New York.

In an interview with Velasquez on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” on Monday, she said she received the flowers but there was no mention if it included a message of apology.

It was on her October 1 vlog that the Songbird revealed how a store attendant stopped her at the entrance of the store and told her that they don’t have sizes for her.

Velasquez and Megastar Sharon Cuneta were the guests of that night’s episode ahead of their joint concert dubbed “Iconic”.

Meanwhile, Cuneta also shared the same experience of being discriminated against when she entered a Hong Kong boutique at Cartier.

She said she was also wearing something simple at that time. Another sales representative entertained her and ended up buying things she didn’t need because she was so angry.

The host Abunda, for his part, said “it’s inhuman” when certain nationalities are prioritized less or even being discriminated against whatever they look like.
