Filipino rock music fans of the 70s to date experienced a Flashback Friday of classic hits sung by Arnel Pineda, the current lead singer of Journey in a concert organized by DJMC Events that took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Performing to a crowd of thousands of Filipinos and other expats, Pineda impressed all audiences with his engaging and moving renditions of hit songs from bands like Queen, Creed, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, and of course – Journey.
Among the songs that Pineda performed included a Bon Jovi’s ‘It’s My Life’, Creed’s ‘My Sacrifice’ Bryan Adams’ ‘Summer of 69’, a masterful performance of a medley from Queen’s greatest hits, as well as Journey’s own hit ‘ Faithfully’.
The audiences were also in for a treat as Pineda also jived in with the audiences to sing with them as he stepped down the stage to approach a few lucky concert goers.
