WATCH: Filipino singer wows “The Voice 2018” judges with Jessie J hit

Another Filipino singer brought the house down with her powerful singing abilities during the premiere of the 15th season of the famous US singing competition “The Voice”.

The show’s judges, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Jennifer Hudson, and Blake Shelton, were amazed by the amount of talent that they saw during the blind auditions of the show, among of which is that of Filipino singer Radha.

Radha stepped on stage to sing Jessie J’s hit song “Momma Knows Best”, and immediately impressed everyone with her high belts and vocal runs.

Levine got so astounded that turned his chair only a few seconds after Radha began singing. He even “blocked” co-judge Jennifer Hudson from coaching her so that she will go to his team.

“I was so amazed by you – the way you perform, the control, the maturity… This is absolutely the era of the female,” Levine said during the judging portion.

Hudson agreed with Levine and said, “I’m just happy to see a voice like yours make it to a show like this. You outdid yourself, little sister, let me just say that.”

“I don’t think we ever had a blind audition where somebody, vocally, kicked the door down like you did when you stepped on the stage. Unbelievable.”

Levine and Shelton also agreed that Radha got what it takes to win the competition.

In the end, Radha picked Levine as her coach and will continue on in the next stages of the competition.
