WATCH: First look at Miss Granny starring Sarah Geronimo

Popsters are raving about the new trailer of Miss Granny, Sarah Geronimo’s “most anticipated” movie. She is to team-up with James Reid, Xian Lim, and Nova Villa in the remake of the Korean hit comedy.

The trailer features the pop princess singing vintage classics like Kiss me, Kiss me and Rain. The movie is about a woman in her 70s who realizes she is becoming a burden on her family; she magically finds herself back in the body of her 20-year-old self after having her picture taken at a mysterious photo studio.

YouTubers supported Sarah by saying they got goosebumps just from the trailer and they will definitely watch it in cinemas. Just fresh out in YouTube, the trailer is already trending with over 300,000 views within two days of uploading.

Although widely remade by different countries, fans are confident that this one is unique as it features songs performed by Sarah.

“Ganitong Sarah ang na-miss sa sinehan. Huhu. Nakakatuwa na nakakaiyak.” One fan even commented.

Miss Granny is produced by Viva Films with Joyce Bernal as director. The film will be showing August 22.
