Filipino actor Zanjoe Marudo opened up about his rumored relationship with Josie Prendergast, a surfer-model who is 16 year younger than him.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, the 35-year-old actor confirmed that he and the 19-year-old model-surfer are in the “getting-to-know” stage of their relationship.
He said they are trying to make an effort to get to know each other better because they have just recently met.
The actor said he now has time for a romantic relationship because he has already finished his two movies titled ‘Kusina Kings’ and ‘To Love Some Buddy’.
When asked for his reaction towards a viral photo with Prendergast which was taken in Siargao, Marudo said, “Reaksiyon ko? Kinikilig ako.”
Rumors about their possible relationship began last May when they were spotted together in a bar.
The young model shared their photo back then on her Instagram Stories.
Marudo and Prendergast got the netizens talking again after the former reportedly attended the latter’s birthday party last month.
According to entertainment blogger Fashion Pulis, Marudo flew all the way to Siargao to celebrate Prendergast’s 19th birthday.
Before he met Prendergast, Marudo was in a relationship with actress Bea Alonzo. He also got linked to Bela Padilla after he broke up with Alonzo.
