Meghan Markle’s ex-husband announces wedding engagement

Meghan Markle’s ex-husband Trevor Engelson has announced that he is engaged.

Markle, who is now the Duchess of Sussex, was formerly married to Engelson, a film producer, in 2011. Prior to their marriage, they also dated for six years. However, their lives as husband and wife lasted for only two years.

Markle and Engelson “quietly separated” in 2013 and filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences”, reported Town and Country.

Engelson, 41, announced that he will get married for the second time after popping the question to his girlfriend, dietitian Tracey Kurland, in the Napa Valley, as per People.

Online sources said that Engelson made the announcement on his private Instagram account by uploading a photo with the caption, “Luckiest guy I know! Get ready to party!”

The said photo reportedly shows a diamond ring on Kurland’s left hand while resting on Engelson’s shoulder.

Engelson made his announcement only a few weeks after the former’s royal wedding with Prince Harry which took place last May 19 at St. George Chapel in Windsor Palace.
