Was Shaina Magdayao throwing subtle shade at Ellen Adarna through the photos she uploaded on her Instagram Stories?
Magdayao previously dated John Lloyd Cruz, Adarna’s current boyfriend, for two years before they broke up in April 2012.
In the said photos, Magdayao is seen covering her face as if avoiding paparazzis taking photos of her.
“Us playing around upon landing,” Magdayao said in the photo’s caption.
However, it seemed as if Magdayao had a sudden change of mood because she uploaded the same photo with an added caption which read, “Thought this was funny but now think it’s annoying.”
It can be recalled that Adarna caught the attention of netizens when she posted an Instagram story showing a high school student named Eleila who allegedly took a photo of the actress while dining inside a restaurant in Makati.
“When you PAP us, we PAP you. It’s a tie. #PAParazziMoves,” Adarna’s IG post read.
However, the high school student decided to hit back at the actress and posted a tweet explaining her side of the story. She said that she was taking a video of her food and not Adarna.
Adarna, however, stood by her own version of the story and even asked Elbert Cuenca, owner of restaurant Mendokoro Ramenba, to provide CCTV footage to finally shed light on the matter.
She also advised Eleila to stop “acting like a victim”.
A few days after the issue sparked, Myra Santos, Eleila’s mother, stepped in to defend her daughter. Myra has since filed lawsuits against the sexy actress.
Adarna has remained mum about the issue.
