It only took singer-actress Jenine Desiderio three words to reveal on social media that her daughter Janella Salvador ignored her on Mother’s Day.
On May 13, Desiderio uploaded a video of her youngest child greeting her Happy Mother’s Day.
In the comments section of the said post, one netizen assumed that Salvador greeted her in private since she was not seen in the uploaded video.
“I’m sure your daughter [Janella greeted you] privately, [because] no matter what, [you are] one family. Happy Mother’s Day. In God’s time, His amazing power will be done in the right time. God is good.” the netizen commented.
Desiderio replied with a short comment which reads, “No, she didn’t”, clearly disclosing that her daughter did not send her any form of greeting.
Earlier news reports revealed that Desiderio and Salvador’s relationship turned sour after the former called out her daughter on social media last year.
Through a series of tweets, Desiderio seemingly reprimanded Salvador for her “hard-headedness”.
Salvador has also revealed in the past that there are “deep reasons” for the ongoing rift between her and her mother. She has also asked for some privacy regarding the matter.
