An Aldub fan posted a video on Instagram showing an unidentified woman throwing a punch at Maine Mendoza.

Based on the clothes she is wearing, the video was taken on February 27, 2018 when Mendoza, together with co-hosts Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo, and Paolo Ballesteros went to Nueva Ecija for the Juan for All, All for Juan segment of Eat Bulaga.

In the said video, Mendoza was simply passing by when a woman came out of nowhere and punched the 22-year-old TV host-actress.

“Grabe pagkakasuntok kay Maine halatang galit sa kanya… tao rin ang mga ‘yan, nasasaktan,” @maichardheartforever said on Instagram.

Mendoza tweeted on the same day that she was not feeling well that makes her “cry like a child”.

Fans expressed their concern for Mendoza who was obviously hurt by the attack.
