After making waves in the swimsuit business, actress and model Sam Pinto has taken the “island life” and her love for mermaids to the next level as she opens her own mermaid-inspired surfing resort in Baler, Aurora.
Pinto, who was dubbed FHM’s sexiest in 2011 and 2012, turned a 3.5-hectare property in Brgy. Reserva, Baler, Aurora into L’Sirene Boutique Resort, which opened in April 2017.
Pinto said her love for surfing turned her into a savvy entrepreneur and a hands-on resort owner.
“Kapag wala akong project like teleserye or movie, nag-stay ako dun for a week,” Pep.ph quoted Pinto as saying.
“I designed the resort, the rooms. I bought all the toiletries. Sometimes, I would change the bed sheets because I need to learn how to do it also,” added Pinto, who also owns Sirena Swimwear.
Aside from the establishment’s 10 deluxe rooms and five super-deluxe rooms, guests may also enjoy surfing lessons and a chance to see Pinto in surfing action.
Guests may also fulfill their dreams of being a mermaid as the resort’s rooms feature mermaid-inspired embroideries.
Pinto’s resort is located in one of Baler’s top surfing spots, but guests may also unwind in with L’Sirene’s pool and fishing activities.
L’Sirene’s website showed its room rates range between P5,000 to P6,000 per night.
