The UAE’s Filipino community is set to gather on June 7 for Kalayaan 2026, a Philippine Independence Day celebration at Dubai World Trade Centre featuring performances by actress-singer Arci Muñoz, P-pop girl group G22, and boy group 1st.One.
The free event, which carries the theme “Feel the Freedom. Share the Peace.”, aims to celebrate Filipino heritage and culture while promoting unity and cultural understanding among the UAE’s diverse communities.
Kalayaan 2026 was officially launched during a gathering at B-Hub, BurJuman Mall, attended by Philippine Consul General Ambrosio Brian Enciso III, government representatives, community leaders, event partners, media representatives, and supporters.

Organizers said the event is intended to serve as a platform for community engagement and cultural exchange, bringing together Filipinos and residents from different backgrounds through a shared celebration of Philippine independence. The celebration is being organized by Emirates Loves Philippines, Infinite Communities, and The Filipino Channel (TFC).
The program will include live entertainment, cultural presentations, community performances, interactive activities, exhibitions highlighting various aspects of Filipino culture and identity, as well as a food village featuring Filipino and international cuisine.
Kalayaan 2026 is supported by the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, the Migrant Workers Office, Dubai Police, Positive Spirit, Hemaya International, and the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs–Dubai (GDRFA Dubai). Residents of all nationalities are welcome to attend the June 7 celebration.
