The city of Dubai and some overseas Filipino workers were featured on the 2018 Christmas Station ID of the Kapuso network — all the more reasons for OFWs in the UAE to watch the said station ID.
As of press time, GMA’s Christmas Station ID has gained nearly 800,000 views and is currently the #1 trending video on YouTube Philippines.
The video, titled “Ipadama ang #PusoNgPasko”, featured the St. Mary’s Parish Choir as they were singing in front of the iconic Dubai landmark Burj Al Arab.
According to GMA, their station ID for this year “highlights the Kapuso network’s wholehearted public service to the Filipinos that encompasses the true heart of Christmas.”
It also featured different organizations of various causes and advocacies that help Filipinos across the country.
The station ID also showed several Kapuso artists in different parts of the world, including Rachelle Ann Go and Aicelle Santos from England, Atom Araullo Spain, and Comedy Queen Ai Ai delas Alas, singers Christian Bautista and Julie Ann San Jose, and comedians Super Tekla and Donita Nose from California, USA. It aims to make the audience feel the spirit of the holiday season wherever they are in the world.
