Without a doubt, Morissette Amon is one of the best Filipino singers in her generation. She has a wide vocal range and distinct style, which makes her the country’s next big singing sensation.
However, it seems like her work which requires strenuous vocal activity is taking its toll on her voice and health.
Recently, Amon had to cancel yet another concert due to bad vocal condition.
She was not able to perform in Roxas City, Capiz on October 1 for her concert titled “Our Jam” after her doctor advised her to take strict vocal rest.
Through a post on social media, Amon apologized to her fans in Capiz because she was not able to make it to the concert. The concert was rescheduled on November 3.
The 22-year-old songstress also clarified that she was not rushed to the hospital and that she just needs to take some time off.

Amon previously revealed that she developed vocal nodules after her first stint in musical theater. She said that she started losing her voice due to it.
This isn’t also the first time Amon had to cancel a live performance because of the same reason.
She previously had to cancel her appearance in the concert of Westlife’s Shane Filan on September 15 after her ENT specialist advised her to give her vocal chords a break.
Amon also revealed that her concert in Dubai last August 17 had a short delay because she suddenly lost her voice.
The singer said that her extensive traveling could have affected how her body functions, thus, causing her to lose her voice. Despite this, she was able to regain her voice and put on a good show for her fans.
