Kapuso actress revealed on her Instagram Stories that she has decided to focus and divert her attention to “something” after suffering a miscarriage last June.
During a question-and-answer session on her social media account, one netizen asked her when will she be returning to acting, and Evangelista answered by giving a few information about her life post-miscarriage.
She also said in her answer that she will postpone any plans on getting pregnant because of the incident.
“Because of the recent happenings in my life it will take some time for me to get pregnant again so I’ve decided to work on something very soon before taking another break,” she said.
Previous entertainment news have stated that Evangelista will soon launch a clothing line so this might be the “something” that she was referring to on her Instagram Stories.
The 33-year-old actress first revealed that she and her husband Senator Francis Escudero are expecting twins on May 12.
Unfortunately, Evangelista said that one of the twins did not survive only a week after the announcement.
Last June, she said that she has lost the remaining baby too.
However, Evangelista seems to be in a much better place ever since she suffered the miscarriage.
Ever since then, she has been blessed with several opportunities, including a feature on Harper’s Bazaar US as one of the “real crazy rich Asians”, and a brand endorsement from French bag brand Sequoia.
She has also been travelling to several parts of the US and Europe to attend social and fashion events.
Aside from the one mentioned above, Evangelista also answered more questions on battling depression, handling money, and her relationship with the late Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago.
