Canadian diva Celine Dion has arrived in the Philippines earlier today at around 1:00 AM PHT for her two-night concert in the country which will be held on July 19 and 20 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Dion previously uploaded a photo on her Instagram account saying that she has finished her concerts in other countries and that she will be coming to Manila next.
“Now let’s get this little buggy on the road again. Next stop, Manila!” she wrote.
Dion’s private plane flew in from Bangkok and landed on the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and she told reporters that she is very excited to visit the Philippines.
This will also be the first time that she will be staging a concert in the country.
“We are all very excited to be here, it’s our first time, I don’t need to do research, I need to be on the ground and hear it, I wanna feel it,” she said.
In a video uploaded by ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe on Twitter, Dion even sang a song saying that she came ready to the Philippines.

The 50-year-old world-renowned singer has made a mark on the music industry as a vocal powerhouse and has earned several accolades for her music career, including five Grammy Awards, two Academy Awards and seven American Music Awards.
For over three decades, Dion has sold almost 250 million albums making her one of the best-selling female artists of all time.
