Emirates tells passengers: Check in 3 hours before flight

Emirates airline advises passengers leaving via the Dubai International Airport to be at the terminal at least three hours before their scheduled flight.

The Dubai-based airline is expecting a surge in travelers due to the Eid break and summer holidays starting on Wednesday, June 21.

The airline says it expects more than 106,000 travelers in the airport’s Terminal 3 this week.

It also expects the terminal to have the heaviest passenger traffic, up to 37,000 travelers, on Friday

Emirates advises passengers to check in for their flight online in advance. They can do so 48 hours to 90 minutes before their scheduled flight, according to the company.

Emirates also encourages passengers from Dubai headed to the United States to pack their electronic gadgets inside their check-in baggage to avoid delays.
