BREAKING: PH’s first case of nCoV asymptomatic

The Philippines’ first case of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) is asymptomatic according to Health Secretary Francisco Duque.
Asymptomatic means that the patient showed no symptoms of the deadly disease.
“The patient is was admitted last January 25 in a government hospital after experiencing mild cough. Right now, the patient is asymptomatic.” Duque said in a press briefing.
The health chief is said they are working closely with the hospital where the infected patient was admitted.

The first confirmed case of novel coronavirus is identified as a 38-year-old Chinese woman who arrived in the Philippines from Wuhan, China via Hongkong last January 21.
Duque added that they recorded around 29 Persons Under Investigations (PUIs) across the country.
