Kapamilya actress Ryza Cenon said that she has nothing to worry about the non-renewal of ABS-CBN’s franchise this upcoming March.
In an interview with PEP.ph, she was asked about her sentiments on the issue now.
“Actually, tinanong ko rin po sa Viva about it. Tinanong ko kung ano po ang mangyayari. And sabi naman, ‘Don’t worry, hindi namin kayo pababayaan. Kung wala man, meron naman tayong ganito, may digital naman’,” said Cenon.
“So, wala raw dapat ikatakot. Hindi ako natatakot, kasi may tiwala ako sa Viva at sa ABS-CBN,” she added.
Viva Artists Agency is the talent company that manages Cenon’s career.
When asked about what will she say to President Rodrigo Duterte regarding the controversy if given a chance, “Siguro ako, kung may problem man between ABS-CBN and President Duterte, sana huwag nang idamay lahat, lalo na yung mas mababa pang nagtatrabaho sa ABS-CBN. ‘Yun talaga ang concern ng lahat,” the actress explained.
The actress was known for her role as an antagonist at the Primetime Bida show, ‘The General’s Daughter’ (2019).
Cenon officially became a part of ABS-CBN in April 2018.
