He was back at it again to win – Filipino singer and winner of ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ (PGT) Season 2 Marcelito Pomoy wowed the audience and judges of ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’.
He was the first act to move from week 2 towards the semifinals.
The Filipino singer outdid magician Marc Spelmann, stand-up comedian Ryan Niemiller, and dance company Boogie Storm who were in a Star Wars getup.
Pomoy received a standing ovation after he soulfully sang ‘The Prayer’ using his dual voices.
“You are so unique. You are a beautiful, wonderful singer with a woman trapped inside of you,” judge Howie Mandel commented.
Back in 2011, Pomoy joined and won ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’.
