Authorities are now investigating incidents of bomb explosion in Cotabato City which happened a few hours ago in the vicinity of Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral.
Armed Forces of the Philippines Major Arvin John Encinas, Western Mindanao Command spokesperson confirmed that an explosion happened near the cathedral in Cotabato City at around 6pm Philippine time.
The military however said they have yet to receive report from the lower units on the details.
The incident took place at Sinsuat Avenue. Authorities are still investigating the kind of explosive device used.
At least four people were reportedly wounded in the explosion.
Another passenger vehicle is being examined because of a suspected explosive device.
