Residents of the UAE are set to witness another global, world record unfolding right before their very eyes as the next structure that’s set to beat Burj Khalifa’s current record as the ‘World’s Tallest Building’ will also be built in the same city!
The Dubai Creek Tower soars towards the skies, with a height of 1.3 kilometres and a total worth of Dh 3.67 billion ($1 billion). It will soon have its own establishments including restaurants, observation decks, and sky gardens.
The design, inspired by traditional Arabian minarets and the lily flowers, was created by renowned neo-futuristic Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.
“A product of great vision, innovation and construction excellence, it will add to Dubai’s significant skyline and elevate the city’s position as a world-leading metropolis of the future,” shared by Emaar on its official website as the property giant lists the Dubai Creek Tower as part of its awe-inspiring line up of established properties and landmarks in the emirate.
In addition to its revolutionary design and record-breaking attributes, Dubai Creek Tower will feature several enthralling observation decks featuring the highest elevated garden and 360° views of Dubai Creek Harbour and the metropolis beyond. The superstructure overlooks the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary and is directly linked to Dubai Square, one of the world’s most vibrant retail districts.
The Dubai Creek Tower began laying out its foundations in 2017 and is set to open to the public this coming 2021.
