The body of an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who was allegedly killed by his co-worker has been brought home in Koronadal City, Cotabato on November 22.

The OFW identified as Roy Demingoy was reportedly pushed to death his co-worker from Pakistan from the fourth floor of their flat.

The suspect admitted to the crime as the ordeal had been captured by a closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera.

A court’s decision has yet to be made, but the Demingoy family is determined to bring the suspect to justice.

According to the family, they were told that envy was the suspect’s possible motive for the crime.

Demingoy was chosen among employees to become an assistant chef while the suspect was not picked.

The OFW had been working in the emirate since 2016 and initially worked as a cleaner prior to his transfer to the company.

His remains are scheduled for burial on December 2.
