PH envoy: Chinese doctors to help COVID-19 fight soon

Philippine Ambassador to China Chito Sta. Romana said that Chinese doctors may soon be deployed to the country to help fight the coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
 
Sta. Romana however said that details ate still being ironed out and their date of arrival to the country.

“Kasali na ‘yan sa plano, Nabanggit na rin ito ni Secretary Locsin Jr. na merong medical teams na hinahanda na pupunta diyan para tumulong sa atin,” the ambassador said.
 
The PH ambassador said that there has been continuous coordination between the two countries to send medical supplies from China to Manila.

Sta. Romana said the Filipino-Chinese community bought the medical supplies.
 
China has been the previous epicenter of the novel coronavirus, which has infected hundreds of thousands across the globe. 
 
The country has recorded over a thousand infections.
