BREAKING: Dubai to screen passengers from China amid new coronavirus outbreak

Dubai Airports will now screen passengers arriving from China using thermal scanners. 
 
The emirate’s airport operator confirmed the new preventive, safety measure as per a report from Khaleej Times.

The new coronavirus outbreak killed 17 people and infected more than 600 people since cases were recorded in Wuhan City last year. 
 
Chinese scientists revealed that mysterious pneumonia outbreak which affected dozens of people of China came from the same family of viruses related to the deadly severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).
 
The World Health Organization says that Corona viruses are a large family of viruses that cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to SARS.

Symptoms can start from fever, coughing and kidney failure resulting to death.
 
In 2002, SARS infected 8,000 people and killed 774 people in Asia. 
 
Scientists however add that the newly discovered coronavirus in Wuhan remains to be non-lethal compared to SARS.
