Moreno dismayed over vandals on newly-painted wall of Lagusnilad underpass

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has had enough of people vandalizing the city after major clean up drives.

Moreno woke up with photos of the newly-painted Lagusnilad Underpass, which was cleaned last week, showing vandals on its walls.

“Huwag kayong pahuhuli sa akin. Sige, human rights… ‘pag nahuli ko kayo, padidila ko sa inyo ‘to. Buburahin niyo ‘to ng dila niyo,” Moreno said in an interview with CNN Philippines.

“We are really trying to clean up and revive, making Manila, vibrant. We don’t deserve this. The people of Manila don’t deserve this,” he added.

The mayor said that it took 15 years for the government of Manila to have the dirty and filthy underpass renovated.

Panday Sining admitted on doing the graffiti but refused to apologize to the Manila Mayor. The group said that issues painted on the walls are considered their form of protest.

Manila City personnel repainted the walls of the Lagusnilad underpass.
