Quiboloy accepts Vice Ganda’s challenge; threatens to shut down Vice’s network

Religious leader and self-proclaimed Appointed Son of God Apollo Quiboloy has accepted the challenge of “It’s Showtime” TV host Vice Ganda to stop the airng of “Ang Probisyano” and solve the traffic problem in Edsa.

Vice has earlier dared Quiboloy to stopping the Metro Manila’s chronic traffic problems over his statements that he was able to stop the earthquakes in Mindanao.

“Si Quiboloy lang ang magpapahinto ng Ang Probinsyano, abangan niyo ‘yan. So ano, Quiboloy, hinahamon kita, ipahinto mo nga ang Probinsyano. Napahinto mo pala ang lindol, e. Napakayabang niyo pala,” Vice said.

Quiboloy is the founder of the religous group Kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Name Inc. and  Sonshine Media Network International.

In his own show, Quiboloy responded to Vice’s challenges.

“Bakit naman dumating tayo diyan, parang lindol lang yung pina-stop ko, e, dumating pa yung challenge na ipa-stop ko daw yung Probinsyano o kaya yung sa EDSA. Kailan mo ba gustong mapa-stop ang Ang Probinsyano?

“Ikaw, magpili ka, kelan mo ba gustong mai-stop? Isang buwan? Dalawang buwan? Tatlong buwan?Apat na buwan? Ikaw, pili ka,” Quiboloy said.

The religious leader  hinted about the franchise renewal of the Kapamilya network.

“Baka sa apat na buwan, hindi lang yung Probinsyano ang mai-stop, baka pati yung network mo stop na ‘yan,” he said.

ABS-CBN’s franchise is set to expire on March 2020.

Lawmakers have yet to tackle the bill renewing the network’s franchise.

In the end, the religious leader issued a vague but possible threat to Vice and the Kapamilya network.

“Sabi pahintuin si Probinsyano, o wala naman akong pakialam dun sa Probinsyano kung ano. Pero dahil chinallenge mo, hindi ako magsasalita, but the challenge is accepted. Pero di ako magsasalita, hihintayin mo na lang. Okay?” Quiboloy  said.
