Abu Dhabi Police urged motorists to reduce their speed to 80 kilometers per hour in the coming days as foggy weather is expected in the city.
The authorities said drivers should take extra precautionary measures as low visibility is expected this month.
Drivers are also urged to follow instructions on smart signs, monitor messages and advisories posted on social media to monitor weather forecasts for bad weather conditions.
The reminder came after a meeting of the Traffic Safety Committee in relation to unstable weather conditions.
