A 17-year-old girl in Buenavista, Agusan del Norte was found dead and believed to be a victim of gang rape.
Eight suspects were arrested by police; six them are minors, as per GMA’s News report.
The victim sustained wounds on her head and chest.
The initial investigation revealed that the victim was seen having a drinking spree with the suspects near a gasoline station.
One of the suspects dragged her into a grassy area, where the incident happened. They were followed by the rest of the suspects.
The victim, according to the authorities, might have been hit a hard object.
The six underage suspects are now under the custody of the social welfare department. The two adults meanwhile denied the allegation.
