Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has ordered the automation of licences and permits in Manila City hall by the end of this month.
The local government unit hopes to launch the automation some time on July 24.
No specific details yet on the automation. Moreno’s team also said that utility works needed to be done in the capital city should be coordinated to them to avoid public convenience.
Constructing water lines, phone lines, lamp posts and roads beyond contract periods will soon be prohibited in Manila.
“Kung ang nasa contract period ay 120 days, tapusin ninyo ng 120 days. Sabihin ninyo ‘yan sa mga kontraktor ninyo. Once extended, dagdag perwisyo yan,” Moreno said in a meeting with stakeholders.
