Ajman Police has brought a 6-year-old Arab safely to his parents after he got lost in the Al Rawda area in Ajman.
Hamidiya Police Station Director Lieutenant Colonel Yahya Khalaf Al Matroushi shared that the police patrol found the child at Al Rawda during an evening inspection tour.
When he was asked by police officers, the child stated that he went out to buy himself something from the grocery and that’s when he got lost and couldn’t find the way back home.
The boy was then taken to the police station as the authorities worked to contact the father to request him to pick up his child. It only took the police one hour from the retrieval of the child to reuniting the kid with his parents.
They then asked the father to sign a document to affirm to the authorities that such an incident would never happen again and was likewise guided by the police on safety measures to assure that the child is within their sights at all times.
Al Matroushi urges parents to practice precautionary measures when taking care of their kids, especially during the evening to avoid such circumstances.
