Female OFWs in Jeddah attend advanced self-defense workshop

Female overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) housed at the Bahay Kalinga attended an advanced self-defense workshop organized by the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah (Jeddah PCG).

Held on May 24th, the training was an initiative of Jeddah PCG’s Gender and Development Program (GAD) and a continuation of the basic self-defense workshop conducted last month.

The workshop was headed by Norma Awitin Pedregosa, founder of NAP Awitin Pedregosa Shotokan Karate International (NAPSKI), a Karate organization based in Jeddah.
