Saudi police killed four heavily armed assailants after a failed terrorist attack on Al Zulfi center, north of Riyadh, Al-Arabiya TV reports.
Authorities reported that the suspects were riding a Toyota car when they tried to ram through the General Directorate of Investigation’s Center.
Security forces were quick to respond and prevented the terrorists from gaining access to the compound.
Three attackers fired machine guns during an ensuing firefight while the fourth attacker detonated an explosive belt device he was wearing.
Saudi authorities are expected to reveal more details soon.
